We are closely tracking the rapidly evolving public health and community concerns related to the new coronavirus or COVID-19. Rest assured that we are taking all available steps to remain accessible to our clients as we continue to act in accordance with their best interests during this difficult time. Please see below for answers to some frequently asked questions, and feel free to reach out to us any time at 704-405-2580 for assistance with your legal matter.

Is your office currently open during normal business hours?

Our two offices are both back to normal business hours during Phase 1 of North Carolina’s response to COVID-19 reopening.

When and how can I contact you?

Our offices can be contacted as usual, through our phones and email.

What video chat platforms do you offer for clients?

If clients prefer to discuss their case face to face, we do offer Zoom calls as well as social distancing for in office consultations.

Are you accepting new clients?

We are accepting new clients and we believe things may get extremely busy as businesses open up, so please set up your consultations as soon as possible to avoid any rush.

How can I get updates regarding the status of my case or legal matter?

You can always call or email our offices for updates. We are routinely checking for court date changes and sending out email updates as we see them.

Are courts of law still open in my area? Will my court date be rescheduled? What if I can’t come to court because I’m sick or quarantined?

Most court dates have been re-scheduled and we are trying to provide every client an email update on any changes. If your court date approaches and you cannot attend for any reason, please keep us updated. Due to the uncertainty of events, staying in contact with our office is important to avoid any missed court dates.

Will scheduled depositions, mediation, arbitration, or settlement negotiations occur as planned?

Each case is unique. While some court cases are in a holding pattern, other negotiations and mediations may be going forward. Please contact our office about your case so that we can let you know what is happening with your particular matter.
